For Healthcare Providers

An idea is born

One of the biggest questions a practitioner faces is; Are the patients actually doing their exercises? And if so, is it having the desired effect?

Today, the rehabilitation process often consists of home exercise combined with practitioner led training sessions. The occasional follow-up meetings make it hard to have a complete overview of the progress. So, let us talk Curest VR.

FAQ

Today, Curest VR is used in hospitals, private clinics and at the patient’s home. It requires that the user has a compatible VR-headset and a Curest licence.

Our VR headsets are adjustable and there is room to wear glasses, with the exception for very large frames. If possible, eye lenses are recommended for the sake of comfort. Alternatively, if you have a minor visual impairment, it is recommended to try without glasses.
Some patients can experience motion sickness, dizziness, headache or similar symptoms during a session with a VR headset. About 10 % of people that try VR for the first time, experience some kind of discomfort. Most patients who experience discomfort often get more and more used to the environments and the symptoms decrease with repeated treatment sessions.
This is very individual. Some individuals can experience motion sickness or dizziness during a certain type of VR usage, but the experiences are made to be gentle to the greatest extent possible and to most individuals, it is a problem that decreases instantly.
